Obituary of Anne Musto

Anne L. Musto, 64, of Lockport, passed away May 1, 2011, at Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. She was born May 9, 1946 in Lewistown, Pa. She was the daughter of the late James and Marian Phillips. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband John W. Stahl in 1988. Anne has lived in Lockport since 1993. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Medina. She retired from the New York State Department of Labor in 2001 where she was employed for 37 years.
She enjoyed her times with the "girls", going to Panera Bread everyday after exercising at Curves for Women. She enjoyed Victorian Teas, going to Bingo, the casino and traveling. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed doing things with family and friends and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member and volunteer of the Dale Association in Lockport.
She is survived by her husband, Franklin (Frank) of years, her daughters, Karen
(Brian) Krieger of Albion, NY ; Kelly Stahl of Cortland, NY, her sister, Drs. Cheryl (Rey) Vaicys of Ruston, Louisiana, her grandchildren, Johnathan and Katelynn Krieger, sister-in-law Cheryl (Tom) Reid, brother-in-law, Jim (MaryKay)Musto, niece Stephanie Musto and nephews Erik Musto and Jonathan Reid all of Lockport, NY. Special friends, Jacci Reed and Sue Green. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
At the request of the deceased there will be no prior visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. A celebration of life will be held for extended family and friends at another time. This will be announced shortly. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice or charitable organization of one's choice, Arrangements made by Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, Lockport, NY
