Obituary of Marion D. Pettitt

Marion D. Pettitt passed away Saturday September24, 2022 at Absolut Care in Gasport.  Born in Niagara Falls on August 12, 1928, she was the daughter of the late James and Daisy Wheeler Kostoff.  Marion retired as a Supervisor from Southland Frozen Foods.  She enjoyed watching Soap Operas, playing word puzzles and especially spending time with her family.  Marion is predeceased by her husband, George Pettitt, her grandchildren Veronica and George, great great granddaughter Michelle, stepdaughter Helen Stetson and brother David Kostoff.

Marion is survived by her children James Pettitt, Steven Pettitt, Charles Pettitt, Edward (Lisa) Pettitt and Linda Stover; grandmother of Edward II, Jonathon, Michael, Thomas, Sherilyn, Aaron, Stacey, Melinda and Derek; 12 Great grandchildren and 6 Great-Great grandchildren She is also survived by her brother Robert (Shirley) Kostoff and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday September 29th at 4-7PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where services will be held on Friday September 30th at 11 AM.   Interment will be in Budd Road Cemetery.  Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
