Obituary of Kenneth C. Lefort
Kenneth C. Lefort passed away September 21, 2022 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born April 1, 1953 in Buffalo, NY he was the son of Kenneth C. and Virginia M. (Schuessler) Lefort. Kenneth served in the US Navy from 1973 to 1977 and worked for Trek Inc in Lockport where he was an electrical engineer from 1986 to his retirement in 2022. He was a member of Good Shepherd RC Church, the Buffalo Geological Society, was involved with 4-H as a child and when his children joined he continued with them. Kenneth was an avid gardener, was a strong advocate of composting, and tinkering around the house being known as a “Jack of All Trades”.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Lynn (Boeck) Lefort; children Kirk C. (Ashley) Lefort, Neil N. Lefort, Kyle K. Lefort, and Nathan A. (Johanna) Lefort; granddaughters Victoria and Vivienne; siblings Keith (Ellen) Lefort, Linda Hans, Jane (Mark) Grizer, Connie (Russell) Reisdorf, and late Jean (Jim) Eichler; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, September 27th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 28th at 10 AM in Good Shepherd RC Church. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
