Obituary of Robert L. Ames
Robert Lawrence Ames (January 6, 1959 - September 18, 2022), died at the age of 63. Son of the late Robert LeRoy Ames and Joan (Fox) Ames, beloved brother of Sandra (James) Hutchison, Judith (Thomas) Moss, and Douglas (Cynthia) Ames. Bob graduated from Lockport High School, and was a lifelong resident of Niagara County. As an avid outdoorsman, Bob loved fishing, canoeing, baseball and football. He was committed to both his family and his Catholic faith. Bob is survived by his siblings and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, September 26th from 5:30-7:30 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 27th at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Road, Ransomville, NY. Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.
