Obituary of Peggy A. Ziblut
Peggy Ziblut went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 7, 2022 at home, under the care of her loving son Michael Ziblut, and the wonderful help of Hospice. She was the daughter of late Steven and Stella (Mucha) Ziblut.
She is survived by her loving son Michael Ziblut and daughter Janet Ziblut (Janna Lamirand) and her brothers Steven (Diane) Ziblut Jr. and Anthony (Carol) Ziblut.
Born June 23, 1949, in Niagara Falls, NY, Peggy graduated from Newfane High School and worked as a Nurses Aide in Newfane Nursing Home, a Teacher's Aide in Lockport, and She volunteered, worked, enjoyed her time, and recieved many Blessings at the Lockport Salvation Army Soup Kitchen for 27 years.
She is greatly loved by her second family, Maggie Cortez, Michele Beaudoin, Venice Beaudoin the late Connor Beaudoin, and Loving friends Karyn (Aikin) Zapp, Linda Gogolack, Mable Robinson.
A Devoted Mother, homemaker, and mother to many, including David Carlson, Dennis Reeb Jr, Joshua Callahan, Richard Robinson, she was always ready to make a meal or give a cold drink to many of her son’s close friends.
She is also survived by many relatives, friends, and neighbors.
Peggy loved all animals, especially birds, dogs and cats. She loved books, her Bible, her radio (Hometown 1340 WLVL) , music, singing, TV talent shows, reading the Lockport Union Sun and Journal, and Nature. Her Spirit Shined bright and her actions were by God. Her selflessness and helping others impacted many lives whether it was big or small. Her heart is pure love and she will be greatly missed on this Earth.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, August 11th from 3-7 PM with services at 7 PM all in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Interment will be open to public in St. Charles Cemetery, Newfane at 10am. In lieu of Flowers, donations can be sent to the Lockport Salvation Army Soup Kitchen, Hospice or the SPCA.
