Obituary of Dominick James Dellaccio
Dominick J. Dellaccio of Lockport, NY, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022, at home. Born on June 21, 1945, in Lockport, he was the son of the late James and Marie (Grossi) Dellaccio.
Dominick was a 1963 DeSales graduate and attended the University of Arizona and Southern Illinois University on a football scholarship. He served his country in Vietnam in the field and as aid to commanding general of 101st Airborne. He retired as President and Assistant Business Manager in 2001, after 32 years in union construction. Dom was a proud member of the VFW, An-Jo Club, American Legion and Vietnam Members of America chapter #268. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, and a loving husband and father.
Dominick is survived by his wife Felicia (Malizia) Dellaccio; two children, Ann Marie Dellaccio (Ron Ramsland) and Elizabeth Dellaccio (Gianclaudio Angelini); siblings Mary Ann Duffy and Jim Dellaccio; several nephews and nieces, and dear friends.
A mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 11, 2022, 10:00 am, at All Saints Parish, 76 Church St, Lockport, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dominick to Niagara Hospice or Roswell Park Cancer Center. Condolences may be offered to the family at https://pruddenandkandt.com.
