Obituary of William Robinson
William A. “Bill” Robinson passed away May 9, 2022 in Niagara Hospice House. Born July 25, 1928 in Lockport he was the son of the late Franklin H. and Clara M. (Chaplin) Robinson. He served in the US Army in 1951, and worked for 10 years in maintenance at Van de Mark Chemical in Lockport. William retired in 1991 from the Niagara County Water Treatment Plant. He was a member of the American Legion Post 410 B. Leo Dolan, American Lung Association and Diabetes Association. William enjoyed fishing, boating, antique wooden boats, and reading westerns.
William is survived by his wife Mary (LaPort) Robinson; children Keith (Cheryl) Robinson, Elaine (Jerry) Farnham, and Vanette (Bob) Bennett; step-sons Ricky (Karen) Kipp and Mark (Lisa) LaPort; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren; also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and may special friends.
