Obituary of Joshua LaSpada
Joshua LaSpada passed away suddenly April 29, 2022. Born November 5, 1992 in Lockport he is the son of Thomas and Sandra (Nuhfer) LaSpada; grandson of Bette Nuhfer and Thomas Nicholas; beloved husband of Brenna (Gilbert) and dog dad to their golden retriever, Colby. An avid sports fan, Josh was a season ticket holder for the Buffalo Bills and worked as a part -time statistics stringer for the Buffalo Bisons. He loved the Yankees, golfing and watching sporting events with friends or family. Josh was a kind and gentle soul who loved spending time with the people he loved most. Josh worked as a UNY Auto Blend Claim Representative at Travelers Insurance.
He is also survived by his loving in-laws, Kevin and Lynn Watier, Mark and Deanne Gilbert, Ryan and Aileen Gilbert, Joshua and Meghan Toenniessen, his niece and nephew, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers and to honor Josh’s life, the family requests donations be made in Josh’s name to Victory Sports Global Outreach Inc., a local organization which provides equitable opportunities for underprivileged youth to participate in sports.
