Obituary of Theodore J. LeVeque

Theodore “Ted” J. LeVeque passed away April 24, 2022 in Orchard Manor.  Born June 2, 1939 in Buffalo he was the son of Theodore F. and Josephine (Barnwell) LeVeque.  Ted served in the National guard for 6 years, worked for Harrison radiator in the Tool & Die Room and owned a photography business for 20 years.  Ted was a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, was chairman of the Democratic Committee, belonged to the Knights of Columbus, involved with the Salvation Army, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, and also the Zoning Board of Appeals for 25 years serving as Chairman for 6 years.  He was predeceased by his wife Yvonne M. (Newman) on January 28, 2009 and sister Sandra (Robert) Smitter.

Ted is survived by his daughters Joni (Timothy) Holden and Elizabeth (John) Skakuj; grandchildren Danny, David Holden and Jack Skakuj; also several nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, April 27th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday, April 28th at 10 AM.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
