Obituary of David P. Aliff

David Paul Aliff, born February 8, 1942 in Wayne County, West Virginia died peacefully on March 26, 2022.

He was a country boy who loved Westerns, Louis L'Amour, and playing The Eagles on full volume.  He was a loving husband to our mother Anne, a connoisseur of dad jokes and protector of his two daughters, Carly and Natalie.  Our dad was a fun one; cross country road trips, summer pool parties, Jersey shore vacations and fulfilled many promises of ice cream if we behaved.  He was there whenever our hearts were broken, even as we grew older and still needed a shoulder to cry on.  Our father was the kind of dad who organized sleepovers for his little girls, all while keeping his sanity just to ensure we were happy.  Our dad was one who would drive us to school, to school dances and know all the names of all of our friends.  Our hearts are broken and his little girls will miss him dearly, but his memory will live on through stories of how he made our childhood very special.

David is survived by his daughters Carly and Natalie, and son-in-laws Andrew and Jason.

Private Services were held at the convenience of the family.
