Obituary of Rose M. Wiltberger
Rose M. Wiltberger passed away March 3, 2022, in Buffalo General Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Born September 6, 1954, in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late Philip D. and Betty Jane (Velia) Cassenti. Rose worked for the Lockport City School District, where she was a lunch monitor. She enjoyed trips to the casino, bingo, crocheting, and singing karaoke. Rose especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and family as this was the main focus of joy in her life.
Rose is survived by her husband of 45 years, Albert “Butch” Wiltberger, her rock and best friend throughout her life; daughter Amy (Joe) Schultz; grandchildren Emily (Vin), Hannah (Jake), and Hayden (Megan) St. Cyr; siblings Barbara (Stephen) Hurt and the late Philip C. Cassenti. Including sister-in-law Sharon (Dave) Wagner, Carol Wiltberger, Kathleen Wiltberger, Joanne(late Paul) White, also several nieces, nephews, and close dear friends.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, March 10, from 4–7 pm, with funeral services following at 7 pm, all in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
