Obituary of Thomas M. Rongo
Thomas M. Rongo passed away February 14, 2022 in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. Born June 15, 1950 in Lockport he was the son of Anthony and Lucy (Provenzano) Rongo. Thomas worked Sherwood Selpac where he was a machinist. He was a member of the Screw Ball Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, coaching all the kids sports, riding his Harley, and dogs.
Thomas is survived by his wife Rosemary (Scinta) Rongo; sons Phillip (Tierney) and Matthew Rongo; granddaughter Ayvah Rongo; sister-in-law Virginia Rongo; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Anthony Rongo.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, February 16th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 17th at 10 AM in All Saints Oratory, 391 Market St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
