Obituary of Kathy M. McPhail
Kathy M. McPhail, age 62, of the City of Lockport, passed on Friday, February 4, 2022, at her residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Fairbanks, AK to the late James Francis McPhail and Arlene Marie (nee Cousins) McPhail Leturgey, she had been employed for over 20 years as a CNA for several Home Health Care agencies in Niagara County. Kathy loved animals, was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and cherished spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved companion of 40 years, Randy Manson, her children, Samantha (Jason Chaffin) English, Jessica Manson, and Matthew Manson, a step-son Randy Manson, Jr., three brothers, Frederick McPhail, William (Theresa) McPhail, and Jay McPhail, and her sister Carrie (Shawn) Smith; also survived by six grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kathy was pre-deceased by a brother James McPhail and a sister Jaime McPhail.
There will be no prior visitation. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
