Obituary of Margaret Ann Whysong
Margaret A. Whysong, known to family and friends as Peggy, passed away January 22, 2022. Born February 6, 1942, in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of Carl and Ruth (Saylor) Ripple. Peggy enjoyed traveling, reading, arts and crafts, and puzzles. She especially loved spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Whysong, and her son, Patrick Whysong.
Dearly loved by her children and grandchildren, Peggy was patient and kind. She faced a great deal of adversity in her lifetime and never complained. She was supportive without being judgmental. She always remembered birthdays and other special events in her families’ lives. She particularly enjoyed visits from her great grandchildren. We will all miss her.
Peggy is survived by her children Lynn (Robert) Sharkey, Lisa Whysong; grandchildren Laura (Sharkey) Takach, Renee Whysong, Christopher Sharkey; great grandchildren Aleksander and Veronika Sharkey, Anna and Natalie Takach.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service Thursday, January 27th at 11 AM at Niagara Falls Memorial Park, 5871 Military Rd., Lewiston.
