Obituary of Joseph E. Colby
Joseph E. Colby passed away January 12, 2022. Born January 11, 1929 in Hornell, NY he was the son of Joseph and Eva (Swain) Colby. Joseph served in the US Army from 1951 to 1953 and worked for Harrison Radiator Div of GM for 30 years where he was a model maker retiring in 1987. He enjoyed drawing, painting, and carving. Joseph was predeceased by his wife Patricia (O’Malley) Colby on December 22, 2000.
Joseph is survived by his children William (Kim) Colby and Carol Ann Colby; grandchildren Katie and Sean Colby; sisters Virginia Hackett and Marilyn Schumacher.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, Jan. 17th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 18th at 10 AM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
