Obituary of Rachel Ruhlmann

Born in Lockport on April 2, 1931, Rachel Ruhlmann passed away January 5, 2022 at age 90 after a brief illness.  She was the only daughter of prominent Lockport businessman Eugene A. Ruhlmann II and Rachel (Murphy) Ruhlmann. She received her education at Stella Niagara and later worked as a nursing assistant at St Clare Manor. Rachel enjoyed the arts, especially drawing, painting, and playing the electric piano. She loved animals and always shared her home with a canine, often of the poodle breed. In her later years she participated in many activities at the Lockport Senior Center and was very fond of the many friends she made there.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at the family plot at Cold Spring Cemetery on Monday, January 10th at 10:00 am. A Memorial Mass will take place in Lockport in early April.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
