Obituary of William Russell
It is with great sadness that the family of William M. Russell announce his passing to be with his Lord and Savior on December 30th, 2021.
He was an accomplished caricature woodcarver who shared his talent with many people. He was very talented creating his own yearly Christmas cards for thirty years and again sharing his talent with his granddaughter “Snickerdoodletoo”. His grandchildren said that he was “a great cuddler”. PaPa Bill loved Christmas and lived it everyday. He had the biggest heart and was the best man we will ever know.
Bill was predeceased by his parents Eugene “Rip” Russell and Mary Long Russell.
Bill is also survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Cynthia, his daughters Kelly Clines and Kimberly (Michael) Kurczewski. Also survived by granddaughters Jordan Clines (Nate Crandall), Norah Kurczewski, grandson Brett Clines and great grandson Kohen Crandall and great granddaughter Kenna Crandall, brothers Robert (Patricia), Richard (Margaret) and sister Kathleen (Charles) Burt. Also survived by sister and brother in law Carolyn and Jeff Koup and several nieces and nephews. Bill is also survived by our close friend and wife #1, Judy Russell.
A memorial service will be held in the summer to celebrate Bill's life and legacy.
