Obituary of Joan M. Lardner
Born in Lockport November 3rd, 1934, Joan Marie Lardner (née Woock) went home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on December 28, 2021.
She and her husband of 65 years, Martin E. Lardner, raised 5 children: Debra Lardner, who predeceased her, Daniel Lardner, Susan Lardner, Sharon (Gene) Head, and Christopher (Christy) Lardner. Joan delighted in her 4 grandchildren Abigail (Carson) Haley, Evans Head, Eileen Lardner, and Josiah Lardner as well as her great grandson Robert Warren (Bo) Haley. She is survived by her brother, Donald Woock, and much extended family.
Joan raised her children in the years between her work as a title searcher for Ticor Title of Lockport. She enjoyed the friendship of ‘the girls’ from her high school days at St. Joseph’s Academy to the bonds she forged in groups playing cards, the ladies who enjoyed games of dominoes, the Red Hat Society, and others.
Friends and family are invited to All Saints Roman Catholic Parish in Lockport, NY on Monday, January 3, 2022 for visitation from 10 - 11 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am.
