Obituary of Robert T. Perry

Robert T. Perry passed away December 26, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born July 5, 1930 in Olean, NY he was the son of Todd and Monta (Gold) Perry.  Robert served in the US Air Force from 1949 – 1952 and worked at the Niagara Falls Air Base for 34 years where he was a crew chief and navigator, retiring in 1987 ranking as a Master Sergeant.  He was a Sanborn Volunteer Fireman, was a member of the Brauer’s Euchre Team, and also was an assistant coach of the Starpoint Girls’ Softball Team.  Robert enjoyed golfing, hunting, restoring tractors, watching sports, and going to the Adirondacks for over 50 years. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen (Szathmary) Perry on December 31, 2007.

Robert is survived by his daughter Linda (Joseph) Townsend; grandchildren Angela, Amber, Amanda, Alyssa, and Andrew Townsend; sister Frances Ewing; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Marvette and Eileen from HART for their loving care towards Robert. 

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, Dec. 29th from 2-5 PM with services following at 5 PM all in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
