Obituary of Leonard Kammerdeiner

Leonard I. Kammerdeiner passed away March 28, 2011 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born November 9, 1936 in Brockway, PA he was the son of Ira and Julia (Ritso) Kammerdeiner. Leonard served in the US Army from 1960 to 1962 and worked in Quality Control at GM Powertrain, Tonawanda retiring in May 1, 1997. He was a member of the UAW Local 774 and enjoyed being with his five dogs, football, swimming, sports cars.
Leonard is survived by his wife of 21 years Donna M. (Laubacker) Kammerdeiner of Tonawanda; two sons Joel (Dawn) Kammerdeiner of Tonawanda and James (Katherine Giambra) Kammerdeiner of North Tonawanda; step-father of Michael Mangold, US Army; grandfather of Thomas, Kori Kammerdeiner and Jordan, Seth Giambra; brother of Theresa (Richard) Clouser of Newfane and Jean (late David) Dell of Sault Ste. Marie, Canada; also one niece, four nephews and one great nephew.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 4-7 pm in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Inurnment will be in the Garden of Memories at Glenwood Cemetery.
