Obituary of Zoe Elizabeth Shufelt

Zoe Elizabeth Shufelt passed away December 16, 2021. She was born on August 11, 1951 in Lockport, New York a daughter of Fred and Esther (Luff) Alexander.

Zoe worked at the Niagara County Sherriffs Department as a Corrections Officer. She was an active volunteer at the Lockport Library and was always lending a hand where one was needed, and enjoyed gardening and DIY building. Zoe cherished her time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Zoe is survived by her husband David Shufelt; children Matthew (Zhuo) Shufelt, Elizabeth (Josh Pollock), Andrew (Katelyn) Shufelt, David (Paula) Shufelt, Kurt Shufelt, Alicia (Melvin) Teeter; grandchildren Christian, Dylan, Travis, Emma, Henry, Aria, Riley, Avery, Fiona; brothers Michael (Donna) Alexander, Brian Alexander, Ivan Alexander, Fred (Lorrie) Alexander, Nicholas Alexander, Kirk (Donna) Alexander; sisters Rita Volpe, Kate (Dennis) Mahoney, also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Ross Alexander, Haila Kennedy, Sue Westgate.
