Obituary of DeLayne Rae Perkins
DeLayne Rae Perkins passed away December 12, 2021 in Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. Born September 2, 1947 in Lanham, Nebraska she was the daughter of Frederick and Emma (Bokelman) Johannes. DeLayne worked for Ridge Road Express Bus Co. in Lockport where she drove bus. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald Perkins, Sr. on May 28, 2007, siblings Frederick Johannes Jr., Henry Johannes, Robert Johannes, Viola McGlashing, and Lolly Myers.
DeLayne is survived by her children Reney (William) Hoover, Gerald (Jennifer) Perkins, Jr., and Russell Perkins; grandchildren Reanna Perkins, Tanner, Caleb, and Brandi Hoover; siblings Larry (Del) Johannes, David (Mary) Johannes, Daniel (Bette) Johannes, Alice Miller, Betty Edsall, and twin sister LaRayne K. (Fred) Horton; sister-in-law Velma Johannes; also several nieces and nephews.
