Obituary of Harold J Hallatt, Jr.
Harold J. “Sonny” Hallatt Jr., passed away on Saturday December 11, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo. Born in Middleport on May 26, 1942, he was the son of the late Harold J. Sr. and Carolyn Meiller Hallatt. Sonny worked at Simonds, Saw and Steel in Lockport, then at Buffalo Paperboard in Lockport. He enjoyed motorcycling, boating, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family. Sonny is predeceased by his wife, Sharon (Specht) Hallatt, who passed away March 24, 1994.
He is survived by his children, Charles Hallatt, Steven (Claudette) Hallatt and Carol Hallatt; grandfather of Andrew Hallatt, Michael Schultz and Teryn Hallatt and great grandfather of six. Beside his wife, he is also predeceased by his sister Nancy Rose.
Friends may call on Wednesday December 15th 4-7 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday December 16th at 10 AM in Glenwood Cemetery. Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
