Obituary of Richard Barcus
Richard Barcus passed away November 24, 2021 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst. Born June 17, 1944 in Rochester, NY Richard served in both the US Army and Air Force for a total of 11 years. He worked for bell Aerospace where he was a machinist. Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing the guitar, was a fan of the Washington Redskin, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Richard is survived by his wife Terry Ann (Plueckhahn) Barcus; children Charles (Jessie Bailey) Barcus, Michael Barcus, Amy (Brian Coles) Barcus-McClune, and Patricia (Joseph) Wagner; several grandchildren; sisters Jerry Lynn Drake, Carol (Robert) Harris, Donna (Gary) Persons, and Cheryl Thomson; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service Wednesday, December 1st at 11:30 AM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Interment will be in WNY National Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
