Katharine F. Shaeffer passed away November 22, 2021 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born June 29, 1927 in Lockport she was the daughter of Frank and Florence (Walker) Shaeffer. Katharine worked for the Lockport City School District teaching at DeWitt Clinton Elementary School. She enjoyed needlepoint, stitching, reading, and sailing.
Katharine is survived by her daughters Yvonne (Gary) Kraft and Yvette Stein; and sister Virginia (Robert) Demorest.
