Obituary of Carol M. Karp

Carol M. Karp passed away November 21, 2021 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital.  Born February 25, 1938 in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of Kenneth Sr and Mabel (Brandt) Cummings.  Carol retired from Niagara County Community College where she was the bursar.  She loved her family, especially the great grandchildren.  Carol loved her little dog, Shadow, reading books, flowers, game shows, and her simple life.  Always having a positive outlook and a kind word for everyone she met.  Carol never complained despite her health struggles. 

Carol is survived by her children Deborah Karp Coder and Michael (Linda) Karp; grandsons William (Samantha) Coder, Andrew (Sara) Coder, Joshua (Jenna) Karp, Jonathan (Courtney Cardinal) Karp, and Zachary (Colby Schaefer) Karp; great grandchildren Ariana Coder, Haile Coder, Reece Coder, Alexander Coder, Hannah Coder, Nathanial Butts, Andrew “AJ” Coder, Matthew Coder, Elijah Coder, Kolton Coder, Silas Coder, and Milo Coder.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, November 23rd from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, November 24th at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport.  Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
