Obituary of Victor V. Trombitas
Victor V. Trombitas passed away November 10, 2021 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born May 13, 1932 in Deerfield, Ohio he was the son of Nick and Katherine (Krziesniewska) Trombitas. Victor served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954 being awarded the Army Occupation Medal of Germany and the National Defense Service Medal. He worked for JW Criswell of Lockport where he was a plumber over 40 years retiring in 1994. Victor was very active with Lockport Little League Baseball where he coached teams and also managed the league for 22 years. He enjoyed bowling and golfing.
Victor is survived by his wife of 60 years Ruth (Cutter) Trombitas; children Michael Trombitas, Phillip Trombitas, Debbie (Daniel) Birkmeyer, and Janet (Aaron) Smith; ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; dear friend Mark Suita; predeceased by twelve siblings.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, November 12th from 11 AM – 1 PM with services following at 1 PM all in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
