Mary Corliss Stahl passed away November 2, 2021.

Born in Sanborn NY, second of four children of Filmore and Olive (Bodie) Marshall.

Mary was surrounded by musicians from an early age with her grandfather and mother being professional musicians/teachers.  She continued her musical training concentrating in piano musicianship and pedagogy and maintained a large studio of piano and organ students in the area.  She was a lifelong church organist serving many congregations including most recently Clinton Street United Methodist where she was also a member.  She also became an entertainer as part of the C C’s of Melody performing both in the US and Canada.

Mary Corliss married Elwood (Bob) Stahl, deceased, and had two children, Joan (Richard) Rands and Kevin (Gertrude) Stahl.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Elwood, her daughter Joan, her sister Phyllis Cothran Ebling and brother Franklin Marshall.  She is survived by sister Charlene M Seekins.  She was a loving grandmother of Lorelei (David) Smith, Renee Maisel, Brett (Barbara) Rands, Tricia (Jared) Bruning, Erin (Chris) Ewin.  She was blessed with many great grandchildren including Ryan (Sydney) Maisel, Alexandra (Spencer) Bedwell, Corey Smith, Zachary and Samuel Bruning, Peyton Erwin,  Cameron and Morgan Rands with great, great grandchildren Chase and Easton Bedwell.

Friends may call Friday 11/5/21 from 3:00PM – 6:00PM with a memorial service at 5:00PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St Lockport.
