Obituary of David E. Seekins

David E. Seekins 81, passed away October 28, 2021 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  Born August 20, 1940 in Lockport he was the son of Wilbur “Red” and Avis (Dietz) Seekins.  Dave worked for HRD for 9 years and retired later in 2005 from Honeywell after 25 years where he was a Sales Manager.  He was an active life member of The First Presbyterian Church of Lockport where he was a past Elder and Deacon.  Dave was also a member of the Clinton Club and the Lockport Elks Lodge where he was a Past Exalted Ruler and Past State Vice President.  He enjoyed several years wintering in Bradenton, FL with his wife Lois.

David is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lois (Lee) Seekins; sons Scott (Anne) Seekins and Kevin (Kimberly) Seekins; grandchildren Kelley Anne, Steven, and Bryan Seekins; predeceased by sister Linda (late Keirn) Vincent.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, Nov. 2nd from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 3rd at 10 AM.  Interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery.  Donations appreciated to 1st Presbyterian Church Lockport, 21 Church Street, Lockport or the Lockport Elks Lodge Law Enforcement Scholarship, 6791 N.
