Obituary of Thelma C. Eckert
On October 21, 2021 Thelma C. Eckert sprouted her wings and passed on in this world. Born on August 6, 1924, to Gertrude and Joseph Metzinger, she was the eldest daughter of nine children who all passed on before her. She was married to Harold T. Eckert (1927-2017) and is survived by her four daughters, Cathie (Leonard Stacy) Booth, Marlene (Mike) Buchanan, Sheila Eckert, and Michele (late Donald) Entwistle; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Thelma was truly loved and cherished by her family and friends. Her genuine love and unwavering devotion will be forever missed. Her fortitude was reminiscent of a generation well in the past, however it’s a shining example of what should be….Let’s Give Thanks.
