Obituary of Anna M. Diermyer

Anna Margaret Diermyer (Goodenough) passed away at home October 20, 2021. Born April 27, 1935 in Lockport, she was the daughter of James and Mary Louise (LeVesque) Goodenough.  Anna graduated from Lockport high school and was a professional dancer, entrepreneur, the owner of the only Merle Norman Cosmetics store in Lockport, was the manager Walden Books, and most recently Lockport Office Supplies Equipment retiring in 2007.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, music, cooking and traveling.  Anna was predeceased by her husband Donald L. Diermyer on February 5, 2012.

Anna is survived by her children Denise West -Baker (Wally); Therese West; Kenneth West ( Cindy); Cynthia West-Chamberlain (Michael); 8 Grandchildren Eric Gailie ( Jamie),  Kristina Gailie Bordeleau (Deceased) (James), Jason Twomey (Kate) Nathan Twomey (Uhaina), Sagan Fylak, Ashley West, Kenneth West, Amanda Lombardo, 6 Great-Grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday, Oct. 24th from 2-4 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 25th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com. Floral Memorials may be sent to directly to Prudden and Kandt. Memorial donations in Anna’s name may be  sent to Niagara Hospice via their website.
