Obituary of Mary A. Sanmarco

Mary A. Sanmarco passed away October 10, 2021 in Elderwood at Lockport.  Born November 27, 1920 in Buffalo she was the daughter of Daniel and Lenora (Macro) Costrino.  She worked as a lunch monitor for North Park Middle School.  Mary was a member of the Lockport Senior Citizens, enjoyed playing BINGO, crocheting, and also watching Buffalo Bills and NY Yankees.  She will be remembered as being a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  Mary was predeceased by her husband Joseph Sanmarco in 1997.  Also predeceased by Costrino brothers and sisters and their spouses and Sanmarco brothers in law and sisters in law.  She is survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Mary’s family wishes to acknowledge the excellent care and compassion given to Mary from the nurses and staff at Elderwood at Lockport and from Heritage Manor of Lockport.

Mary is survived by her daughter Linda (Donald) Hall; grandchildren Elizabeth (Alex) Olka and David (Laurie) Hall; great grandchildren Joseph and Andrew Hall.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.   Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.  Donations to the All Saints Food Pantry would be appreciated by the family.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
