Paula S. McGovern passed away March 17, 2011 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born October 28, 1967 in Lockport she is the daughter of the late Joseph Pete and Patricia (Yanicki) Apolito. Paula was a member of the Navy/Marine Club Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed working on fundraisers for the needy, gardening and sewing. She is survived by her husband of 23 years Andrew McGovern of Lockport; mother of Jashua and Megan McGovern both of Lockport; grandmother of Adriana McGovern; sister of Pamela DiPasquale of Graham, NC , John F. (Mary) Apolito, Sr. of Lockport and James Apolito; daughter-in-law of James & Sally McGovern, Sr.; sister-in-law of James (Lori) McGovern, Jr.; also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM.
