Obituary of Helen R. Carr
Helen R. Carr passed away September 7, 2021. Born March 4, 1939 in Amherst, NY she was the daughter of Graham C. and Mildred (Kinsey) Thomson. Helen worked for the Westwwod Country Club in Amherst where she was Ladies Locker Room Attendant. She enjoyed playing cards and dice games especially euchre with her Pine Senior Apartments friends. Helen also enjoyed motorcycles in her younger years, art, reading, crossword puzzles, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Carr in 1980.
Helen is survived by her daughters Mary (late Roger) Kopp and Lisa (Harold “Bubby”) Beakman; grandchildren Justin, Tanya Kopp, Steven Beakman, and Sarah Beakman-McDonald; great grandchildren Michael, Marshall McDonald, Juliana, Jayda McKee, Hayden, Harper Beakman, and late Gracie McKee; sister Georgiana Thomson.
