Obituary of Dorothy Mae Condon
Dorothy Mae Condon entered into rest August 24, 2021 after a brief illness. Born in Lockport, NY on November, 19, 1929, she was the daughter of Thomas & Katherine (Moody) Condon. She was predeceased by her brother, James E. (Mary Regan) Condon, and sister, Mary L. Condon. She attended St. Patrick’s Elementary School until grade 8 and attended high school at St. Joseph’s Academy in Lockport, graduating in 1947. She graduated from Rosary Hill (now Daemen College) in Buffalo in 1952 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business. She went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Teaching from Rosary Hill College.
She worked for the FBI in Washington, D.C. early in her career and returned to Buffalo to work in the secretarial field for various private companies. She also taught at Hilbert College from 1965 to 1975.
She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews Katherine (Richard) Cavallaro, James M. Condon, Dorothy (Douglas) Szpaicher, Edward (Beverly) Condon, Teresa (John) Slobodzian, and Patricia (Roy) Bright.
There will be a Mass held in memory of Dorothy on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport, NY 14094.
