Anna Kathryn (Judge) Herlan passed away August 22, 2021 in Lockport Rehabilitation & Health Care Center surrounded by her family.  Born May 2, 1937 in Lockport she was the 10th child and daughter of Richard J. and Mary Ellen (Moran) Judge.  Anna was a St. Joseph’s Academy graduate Class of 1954 and graduated from Niagara County Community College in 1982.  She worked as an administrative assistant for the Niagara County Public Works Department and was an avid reader and golfer.  She was predeceased by her husband Richard E. Herlan on August 7, 2019.

Anna is survived by her sons Dennis, Kevin (Renee), Michael (Elizabeth), and Timothy (Colleen) Herlan; grandchildren Cameron, Ryan, Quinn, Gavin, Faith, Emaleigh, Samantha, Sydney, and Aiden; sisters Mary T. Lenihan, Elizabeth Knox Crane, Margaret Danna Kirsch, and Rita J. Haley; also several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her siblings Richard F. Judge, John M. Judge, Donald J. Judge, Joanne M. Berhalter, and Martin Judge.

Donations in Anna’s name can be made to Sisters of Saint Mary at St. Mary Center, 241 Lafayette Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14213 or to a charity of your choice.

Relatives and friends may call 12 Noon – 1:00 PM with services following at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 27th all in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery at a later date.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
