Obituary of Linda M. Coffey
Linda M. Coffey passed away July 31, 2021 in Olean General Hospital after a long battle with breast cancer. Born August 18, 1965 in Bristol, CT she is the daughter of Hugh McCartney and the late Catherine (Hunt) McCartney who passed away December 28, 2013. She worked for Briody Health Care Facility where she was a nurses aide. Linda was very active with Girls Scouts being an assistant troop leader. She enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the casino, reading, going to the beach and ocean, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Besides her father Linda is also survived by her husband Ruben Coffey; children Andrew (Katelyn) Truesdell and Jolene Coffey; grandchildren Ryker, Sophia, and Hayleigh; siblings Daniel (Amy) McCartney, Patricia (Michael) Darlak, Michael (Michelle) McCartney, Mary (Scott) Nelson, Ann (Sara) Pach-McCartney and Brian McCartney; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, August 5th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 6th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
