Helen Oliver-Bil passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Eastern Niagara Hospital.  Born in Barker on March 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Catherine Schulz Olear.  Helen retired from Mt. View Health Care Facility, where she was a registered nurse, before Mt. View she worked at the Niagara County Infirmary.  Helen enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

She was the wife of Roger Bil and the late Sherman Oliver, who passed away June 14, 2000.  She is also survived by her children Sharon (Anthony) Kozyra, James (Leslie) Oliver, Kelly (Jeff) Harper, Melissa (Roger) Schreader, and Melinda (Burton) Crawford; grandmother of Ryan Kozyra, Danielle Osterstrom, Garrett Oliver, Brianna Oliver, Chloe DeJarnette, Ian Harper, Kaitlin Schreader, Carilena Schreader, Dylan Schreader, Mackenzie Crawford and Corey Crawford and five great grandchildren.  Helen was the sister of Ron (Lynn) Olear, Ed (Catherine) Olear and the late Jean Rhoades, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Friday, August 6th 4-7 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 7th at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.  Interment will be in Huskey Cemetery.  Online Condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
