Sgt. Jacob Adam Hahn, HHC, 1st battalion, 503rd infantry regiment (airborne), 173rd airborne brigade combat team, passed away unexpectedly March 5, 2011. He was born April 25, 1985 in Newfane NY. After graduating from Newfane Senior High School in 2003, he attended Kettering University in Michigan. He enlisted in the US Army in 2005 and served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He had planned to return to school to complete his degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Jacob is survived by his sisters, Amber Hahn of Syracuse NY and Elissa Hahn of New York City NY, one nephew, grandmother Mary W. Hahn of Lockport NY, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; son of Tom & Debbie Hahn of Lockport.
Friends may call Sunday from 1-4 pm at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, a funeral service will be held Monday at 10 AM. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.
