Obituary of Deborah E. Mayer
Deborah E. Mayer passed away on July 23, 2021 at home under the care of Niagara Hospice and her loving husband. “Gidet” as she was affectionately known was born on November 14, 1950 in Lockport, NY a daughter of Richard and Margie (Gimbel) Carey.
Debbie worked for Tops, Cocker Saw, Corson Manufacturing and most recent Johnson Rose. She was a member of the YMCA and enjoyed bowling, playing softball, going to the casino but most of all spending time with family and friends.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 52 years Thomas Mayer; children Chad (Stacy McCabe) Mayer, Michele Donner; grandchildren Devin, Tucker, Hailey, Teagan; sister-in-law Debra (Martin) Perilli.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday July 28, 2021 in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee St. Lockport from 4-7PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday July 29th at 10 AM at Hillside Cemetery Cambria, NY. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
