I loved working with you, Linda, at Briody's. The kindness and care that Jim and Joan infused into the staff was foundational for providing wonderful care to all the residents. Many of us picked up some wonderful "life lessons" at Briody's that have stayed with us. Prayers, peace, and comfort to the Briody family.

Sincere sympathy to the family in the passing of Mr Briody. He was a kind and caring man who I always looked up to. I have special memories of him that have stayed with me for years including:
I lived a block away during the Blizzard of "77. I called and offered to work. Mr B spoke to my Mother and all agreed I would walk from home, including going over a 25 foot drift in poor visibility. When I got to the drift, there was a flashlight and Mr B standing at the top of the drift. " If you are willing to do this for our patients I need to see you are safe ".
My thoughts are with all of you at this time.
With Sympathy,
Martha Bragg Zell

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Briody family. It was a privilege to get to know him here at Pinegrove. Jim and Joan were the two kindest caring people and loved each other beyond measure. I know how much Jim missed “his Joan” and it is comforting to know they are together again, never to be apart again. I know our Pinegrove family will miss him very much.
