Obituary of Linval Blackwood
Linval A. Blackwood passed away June 10, 2021 in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo. Born July 15, 1952 in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica he was the son of Michael and Ermine (Powell) Blackwood. Linval worked in production for Bucolo Cold Storage in Burt, NY. He enjoyed football, music especially reggae, and listening to Bob Marley. He is survived by his wife Loroli (Parker) Blackwood; four children; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; mother Ermine (Powell) Blackwood; one brother and four sisters; also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Tuesday, June 22nd at 11 AM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. The funeral service will also be live streamed. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
