Obituary of Gerald O'Dell

Gerald F. O’Dell, entered into rest June 17, 2021.  Born November 7, 1939 in Woodhull, NY, he was one of thirteen children of the late Frank and Della (nee Jackson) O’Dell. 

Gerald was the owner and operator of Gerry’s Collision in Avoca, NY and later the owner and operator of Lawn Care Done Right, while he lived in Boise, Idaho. He enjoyed model car collecting, fishing, going to the casino and camping throughout the United States. Gerald was also an active member of Living Water Community Church in Newfane, NY.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Donna L. (nee Mess) O’Dell; former wife, Mildred (nee Schoonover) O’Dell; his children, Debbie O’Dell, Denise (Ben) Stansfield, Kristie O’Dell, Wendy (Stephen) Anzalone, Derek (Karen) Hoffman, Donald (Jennifer) Hoffman, Marcus (Megan) O’Shea, Sonya (Mark) Santangelo, and Tricia Lively; one daughter-in-law, Gail (Scott Ray) Hoffman; and is survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by two of his children, Thomas O’Dell and Kelly (Sandy) O’Dell.

A Memorial Service will be held at Living Water Community Church 2569 Main St. in the Town of Newfane at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of WNY, 6215 Sheridan Dr., #100, Buffalo, NY 14221.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com
