Obituary of Eileen Vogt

Eileen M. Vogt, formerly of the city of Tonawanda passed away March 5, 2011 in Odd Fellows & Rebeakh Health Care Facility. Born February 15, 1923 in Port Dalhousie, Ontario she was the daughter of John H. and Ruth (Bailey) McLaren. Eileen worked as a fuels clerk at Asland Oil Company in Tonawanda. She was a lifelong member of the Campfire Girls and enjoyed bowling, and volunteering at the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum. Eileen was predeceased by her husband Walter J. Vogt in 1987. She is survived by her son Douglas (Susan) Vogt of Lockport and granddaughter Bethany Vogt.
Relatives and friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM. Donations to the Carousel Society of the Niagara Frontier, PO Box 672, North Tonawanda, NY 14120 would be appreciated.
