Obituary of Rita A. Myers
Rita A. Myers passed away May 28, 2021 in Lockport Rehab & Health Care Center. Born January 5, 1933 in Lockport she was the daughter of Myron and Helen (Zapp) Sanford. She graduated high school and worked in production at Harrison Radiator Div of GM. Rita enjoyed spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband Emmett Myers in July of 1985.
Rita is survived by her two sons Ronald (Debra) Myers and Donald (Patricia) Myers; grandchildren Dan, Jennifer, and John; great grandchildren Sammy, Abigail, and Nicholas; also several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was also predeceased by her siblings Leslie Sanford and Doris Robinson.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, June 1st from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 2nd at 10 AM. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Roswell Park Cancer Institute would be appreciated. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
