Adeline (Del) E. Glena passed away May 5, 2021 in Niagara Hospice House.  Born October 29, 1932 in Niagara Falls, NY. She was the daughter of Ignatius and Janina (Mikolajczyk) Rybacki.  Adeline worked for Niagara County for 26 years where she was a Mortgage Tax Clerk retiring in 1994.  She was predeceased by her husband L. Laverne Glena on September 29, 1997.

Adeline is survived by her children Kenneth (Lisa) Glena and Jody Simons; granddaughters Rachael (Anthony Dyer) Simons, Natalie (Warren) Teall, Kendyl and Penny Glena; great grandchildren Norah and Merideth Teall, Ayden and Colton Dyer; siblings Ted (late Harriet) Socha, Veronica (late Joseph) Hallissey, and the late Edward (late Naomi) Socha, William Socha, Mike Socha, Rich (late Susan) Rybacki, and Stan (late Diane) Rybacki; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Through the years, Del enjoyed crossword puzzles and Sudoku. She also enjoyed social events with the Red Hat Society and going out to lunch with her friends. Her love of Buffalo foods included Lay’s potato chips with Bison Dip and a good slice of local rye bread with butter.

Later in life, Del enjoyed many years with her dear companion, Mr. Albert (Al) Larkin.

Her greatest treasures in life were her four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart, and by whom she will be greatly missed.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Memorial donations to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
