Obituary of Bruce A. Stauff
Bruce Avery Stauff passed away May 4, 2021 in Lockport Rehab & Health Care Center. Born September 4, 1931 in Waverly, NY he was the son of Charles and Bernice (Park) Stauff. Bruce served in the US Airforce from 1950 to 1954 and worked for Carborundum Abrasives in Niagara Falls for 37 years retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Cambria Volunteer Fire Company for over 40 years, the Iroquois Arms Collector’s Association of WNY, and the Ohio Gun Collector’s Association. He also ran the Dusty Corners Antique’s Shop, he was a true “American picker”. Bruce was predeceased by his daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Timothy LaPort.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Frances Jean (Lichtanski) Stauff; his children Bruce (Deborah) Stauff, Jr. and Amy (Wayne) Dillon; grandchildren Timothy (Lindsy Yeager) LaPort, Erika (Timothy) O’Brien, and Katelyn (Justin) Robertson; great grandchildren Madelyn and Cole Yeager, Timothy and Emmie O’Brien, Stella and Knox Robertson.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, May 10th from 4-7 PM with services following at 7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Flowers and trees are gratfully declined.
