Obituary of Richard W. Litz
Richard W. Litz passed away April 12, 2021 in Buffalo General Medical center. Born October 3, 1942 in Lockport he was the son of Walter and Georgina (Rettinger) Litz. Richard was a distinguished Veteran of the Vietnam War, retired Lockport City Firefighter of 30 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling.
Richard is survived by his wife of 53 years, Teresa (Rapp) Litz; children Audra (Darren) Jenkins and Steven Litz; grandchildren Greyson Jenkins, Dylan Menhennett-Jenkins, Shalaine Litz, Whitney (Leydy) Rosas, Brenna Litz, and Steven Brady Litz; great grandchildren River Coe and Saylor Litz; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Edward Litz and Anna Marie Litz.
