Obituary of Bruce Ernest Calabro

Bruce E. Calabro passed away suddenly at home on April 2, 2021. He was born on May 23, 1953 in Brooklyn, NY a son of the late Frank and Grace (Riggio) Calabro.

Bruce proudly served our country in the United States Army. He retired as an  Auditor for the Department of Tax and Finance and the Department of Labor. Bruce enjoyed golfing, traveling, eating out but most of all he loved going places with his grandchildren.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 47 years Nancy (Paradowski) Calabro; children Melissa (John) Crisafulli, Nicole Calabro, Bryan (Bridget Kurtz) Calabro; grandchildren Matthew and Sophia. Also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday April 8, 2021 from 4-7PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee St. Lockport, NY. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday April 9th  at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church 168 Chestnut Street Lockport, NY. Inurnment will be at a later date in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program PO Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148-0142, would be appreciated by the family.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
