Obituary of Patricia J. Means

Patricia Joy Means passed away March 7, 2021 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born August 11, 1930 in Lucerne Mines, PA, Patricia was the daughter of Arthur and Helen (Gaston) Clawson.  Patricia attended Anderson University in Anderson, IN and worked for Gospel Trumpet Company in Anderson, IN.  After working for Harrison Radiator Div of GM in Lockport, she worked for the Lockport City School District as a lunch monitor.  

Patricia was an active member of Lockport Alliance Church. She hosted Senior Adult Bible Study in her home for many years. Throughout her life she enjoyed playing piano and organ for church worship as well as teaching Bible School. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, and reading. 

Patricia is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dale Means; daughters Marcia (Dan) Donovan, Dee (Phil) Conner, and Karen (Kon) Varlis; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. 

Private services were held at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home with interment in Corwin Cemetery on March 11.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Patricia to Lockport Alliance Church, 555 Davison Rd, Lockport, NY 14094 www.lockportalliance.org
